Barrister gets expelled for offensive tweets
A reminder that you can be fired/expelled for what you say on your personal twitter, if it could damage your company's reputation.
Cornerstone Chambers said the “particularly offensive” tweet by Jon Holbrook was “irreconcilable” with his continued membership of the chambers, which “unequivocally condemn discrimination in all its forms”.
Jon Holbrook branded Ruby Williams, who suffered hair discrimination at school, a "stroppy teenager of colour".
